Busy in winter
We have so much happening at the moment. Winter is half way through and we are powering along. This is a pic from a recent visit to Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens in Thailand. Great spot, and it’s warm.
Just finished the Rose and Salvia prune, there comes a time when you have to forsake the endless flowering of the Salvias in order to promote growth for next season, so now is the time!
New gardens; been working on plans for some great courtyards in Princes Hill, Brunswick and Reservoir, all seem to have a common theme; informal, cottage, with a mix indigenous and exotics and very full planting.
And, a completely different look for a stunning new front garden in East St Kilda. The house has technically been renovated but it is more like a complete rebuild. It’s a totally modern design so we’re going to be using lots of orange to contrast the house facade; glazed pots, Stretlizia, Kangaroo Paws.
Then just to fill in our spare moments some Landscape Plans for town planning in Coburg, Doncaster and Eltham. I think we will have Melbourne covered by the end of winter.
Looking forward to an icy weekend.
