Roof Garden in the making
We are just about to start work on a new roof garden project. This is going to be an exciting project with lots of scope for different plantings. I had already decided to use Doryanthes ‘Gymea Lily’ in some of the large cubes. Then, going back and forth between Toorak, St Kilda and Coburg, I came across these fine specimens of this plant. It’s a fantastic plant, an Australian native, it’s tough, tolerates harsh conditions and is absolutely striking. Perfect for a roof terrace. Looking forward to seeing these pops of red on the skyline in Toorak.
