Townhouse courtyard and garden
This courtyard had been undertaken by previous owners. Our client needed to make use of the existing hard elements and build on these to create a more appealing use of the space.
Simple changes to the existing paving created an area large enough to become an entertainment area with espaliered citrus.
The front garden was a baren patch of very dry lawn absent of any structure.
The remnants of the lawn have been removed. Random bluestone creates an informal path through the area with seating off to one side. This space will eventually be enclosed by a canopy of evergreen Grevilleas and a slightly taller combination of Crab Apple and Birches, creating a garden that can be appreciated from the street while providing privacy and shade.
